On November 16, Tomsk and Kazan became the winners of the City Strategies Contest 2017: Capitals of Federal Subjects held in Yekaterinburg. 14 participants admitted to semifinals of City Strategies Contest 2017 to be held at the Strategic Planning Forum on October 23-24 in St. Petersburg. According to an amendment to the Сontest Statement of September 11, semifinals will be held in two groups entitled Capital Cities of Federal Subjects and Non-Capital Cities of Federal Subjects.
