Dear Forum participants! I welcome organizers and guests of the XVI All-Russia Forum "Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia"!

This year the main topic is devoted to tools and resources for implementing strategic planning documents.  

Strategic planning is the basis for understanding the country's economic development agenda, supported by modern tools and mechanisms, as well as the high degree of responsibility among all participants involved in these processes.

Strategic planning is of primary concern. It gives us an opportunity to align the goals and targets with strategies and plans for the regions, municipalities, and large companies, being able to find and effectively allocate resources to achieve them. 

Now federal subjects are updating strategic documents. This work should not come to nothing, but have a final, applied result to achieve the most important goal – improving the quality of life of our fellow citizens.

The Forum has shown its authority and relevance for 16 years. Today representatives of academic, economic and public structures from many regions of our large country gathered here to discuss the current challenges and work out ways to solve them. Therefore, the Forum annually acquires all new aspects and features for solving the most important tasks on implementing the state policy of regional development.
